Pull data from SAR using date as filter

Is it possible to pull data from SAR using archival date
as a filter.
Lets say I want to retrieve information about jobs that got archived
on a particular date.
In our project we prepare a report from SAR and send it to client but
for some reasons client keeps coming for some data for older dates.
In those instances we have to look back into our notes.
I was thinking if we could pull data using date as a criteria then it will
be useful
