You can check the z/OS version by doing the following
From main screen
7.3 and press enter
You should see the “Variables – Application: ISR” screen
Scroll down to locate “ZOS390RL”
You will see something like this “ZOS390RL S N z/OS 01.11.00”
The version is 01.11.00

The other method to check the version of zOs is as listed below
Issue command
TSO ISPVCALL STATUS
Upon execution of the above command a dataset “userid.ISPVCALL.TRACE” will open
Locate ZOS390RL:z/OS
You will see something like this “ZOS390RL S N z/OS 01.11.00”
The version is 01.11.00
